This is absolutely the BEST matcha on the market! It is very smooth and flavorful. I have tried different brands and nothing else compares! Must try! I purchased this product for the 1st time at a Japanese grocery store and then on Amazon. I then purchased directly from Sugimoto website and was extremely pleased. The staff took the time to write a personal note thanking me (and in Japanese, too!) and included samples and a Matcha recipe book. Best at this price
This price point is the sweet spot for me as far as something I can afford to drink regularly but is not so cheap that I have to mix it with milk or other ingredients. I have been trying a few brands at this price point (give or take a dollar or two) and this one seems to be the best so far. I drink it whisked in a chawan as usucha (thin tea) and it is great.

This matcha is the best! It has a rich flavor and wonderful taste. It is truly ceremonial! Other ceremonial grade matchas I have tried fall short in terms of taste, purity and flavor. I highly recommend!

Organic Ceremonial Matcha`
If I were to describe this matcha in 3 words they would be sweet, grassy, and light.
The powder is bright green and very fine, so it it blends well and makes a thick drink with plenty of foam. This matcha was reminiscent of sweet peas with a crisp short finish after each sip. If you prefer your matcha refreshingly light and vegetal rather than heavy and umami, than this matcha might be up your ally.

Matcha is basically my sole beverage. I have tried MANY brands at different price points, but this is hands down the best tasting matcha available. You will not be disappointed. Also, Sugimoto is very efficient if you need to order online.
