Hojicha is a roasted green tea traditionally made from late summer bancha green tea. At Sugimoto Tea Company, we use a blend of roasted leaves and stems from higher quality earlier harvests of Organic Sencha Asamushi to give our Organic Hojicha the right balance of brisk and earthy flavors. A toasty aroma, smooth flavor, and low caffeine content make this tea appealing to tea drinkers of all ages. Our high quality compostable teabags have an extra long string as compared to other leading brands, allowing the tea to more easily be steeped in mugs and tumblers of any size. There are 12 soilon pyramid tea bags in a box. Each tea bag is good for a 12 oz cup of tea.
